How Much Does the CRFSC Cost?
The cost of the Canadian Restricted Firearms Safety Course (CRFSC) varies by province, instructor, and whether you take it as a standalone course or combined with the CFSC. On average, expect to pay between $80 and $200 CAD for the CRFSC alone, or $200 to $400 CAD for the combined CFSC + CRFSC package. The combined package is almost always better value.
These fees are set by individual instructors, not the government. The RCMP certifies instructors but does not regulate course pricing. Prices vary based on location โ urban areas tend to have more competition and lower prices, while remote areas may charge more due to fewer available instructors.
